URC Flour is calling all bakers with a passion for baking to level up and join the URC Flour Bida sa Misa. Be the next “Bida Bakerpreneur”!

URC Flour is committed to empowering the next generation of baker-entrepreneurs, and BIDA sa MASA is the company’s flagship program designed to help you rise!

This year’s event will be held in coordination with the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Pasig City, Sariaya, Quezon and Davao City. This contest will showcase a variety of delicacies, including breads, cakes and pastries as contestants will be representing their respective regions via a unique and delicious baked goods.

There will be two categories for the contest, open to Home Baker or hobbyist who wants to level up their baking skills with the opportunity of owning their own bakery, and for Pro Bakers who have been creating delicious baked goods in a bakery, restaurant or café and wants to expand their skills and business.

#InSpecs: I watched a ballet show for the first time

When I hear the word “ballet,” the first thing that comes to my mind was “ballet shoes.” I have always admired people who can do ballet especially because of these shoes that they wear on performances. But other than the usual, I am not very familiar with ballet shows or know much about the performers. However, I am still interested to explore different forms of art especially by Filipino artists. So when I received an invitation to watch “The Merry Widow” by Philippine Ballet Theatre, I immediately took the opportunity and signed myself on a Saturday afternoon show.

April 5th. The show was held at Samsung Performing Arts Theatre in Ayala Mall Circuit, Makati. The staff were so accommodating that I easily got seated and was able to comfortably watch the show.

If not for the online tittle-tattle on the PH entertainment scene recently, I wouldn’t be aware about this ‘224’ thing.

2: today; 2: tomorrow; (and) 4: forever

And it’s a shame that it is somehow being minimize to a meme now. But taking away the predicament to which this combination of numbers was involved in, I believe that indeed ‘224’ holds a precious meaning. Hence, as a very sentimental human being, I purposefully created this first post on this new blog of mine today, February 24th: making my own special version of 224.
